Abenego Engineering Nig Ltd is expanding its fibre broadband services . We are looking for motivated and skilled freelancers to join our team across Lagos, Ogun, and other states in Nigeria in the following roles:
1. Installations Contractor
Responsibilities:
- Perform fibre drops to residential and corporate premises
- ONT/GPON installations and setup
- Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) configuration and testing
- Ensure installations meet quality and SLA standards
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma, ND, or BSc in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience in fibre broadband installations (GPON/FTTH preferred)
- Knowledge of networking protocols and CPE configuration
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Attention to detail and safety-conscious
Compensation:
- Fixed installation fee per connection
2. Support Partner
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to subscribers
- Report issues to Open Access Metro’s NOC
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Assist customers with troubleshooting and guidance
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma, ND, or BSc in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in customer support for broadband or telecom services
- Knowledge of ONT/GPON devices and basic networking troubleshooting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to document and escalate technical issues effectively
Compensation:
- Monthly support fee per active customer, or per ticket resolved
3. Maintenance Partner
Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of network infrastructure
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fibre lines and equipment in the assigned area
- Ensure minimal downtime and optimal service quality
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma, ND, or BSc in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Hands-on experience in fibre network maintenance and fault resolution
- Knowledge of OLTs, ONTs, and fibre testing tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel within assigned coverage areas
Compensation:
- Monthly maintenance contract per building or area covered
General Requirements (All Roles):
- Own transportation for site visits is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
