Emmanuel Abia is a highly accomplished engineering professional, business leader, and multidisciplinary expert with over two decades of experience spanning civil engineering, construction management, and emerging technologies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos. He has also earned a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, reflecting his forward-thinking approach and commitment to innovation in engineering and business operations.

He is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), underscoring his adherence to the highest professional, ethical, and technical standards in engineering practice. His strong academic foundation, combined with practical industry experience, positions him as a trusted authority in delivering complex infrastructure and development projects.

Over the course of his career, Emmanuel has demonstrated strong leadership in the planning and delivery of large-scale civil and telecommunications projects. He has served as Project Manager for the construction of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Residential Quarters in Enugu and contributed to major road construction projects with STRABAG Construction Ltd.

His professional experience also extends into the telecommunications sector, where he successfully managed cell site infrastructure projects for Huawei Technologies Ltd. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the implementation of Huawei’s collocation site model and fiber optic deployment projects for major global clients including MTN (Turnkey projects), Airtel, Ghana National Fibre Project, American Tower, and Comium Ivory Coast. His leadership contributed to improved operational efficiency, optimized resource utilization, and significant cost savings across multiple projects.

As the Managing Director/CEO of Abenego Engineering Global, Emmanuel leads with a vision centered on innovation, operational excellence, and strategic expansion. Under his leadership, the company continues to strengthen its footprint in civil engineering, infrastructure development, AI technology and international trade, while exploring new frontiers driven by technology and data-driven solutions.

Additionally, he holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering, further underlining his academic prowess.

He holds the prestigious designation of Chartered Project Management Professional (CPMP) from the Chartered Institute of Project Management, Ghana. These certifications reflect his deep understanding of safety and quality management principles and his ability to apply them effectively in diverse professional settings.

With a remarkable career spanning various leadership roles, Benson has amassed invaluable experience in power and energy management. His tenure as Chief Safety Officer and operations at Polo Limited, and as Operations Manager at esteemed organizations such as Nakem Oil and Gas Company Limited, has equipped him with unparalleled expertise in developing and implementing strategic procedures.

Currently, Benson serves as the Director of Power and Energy Operations of Abenego Engineering, where he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality across all operations. In this capacity, he leverages his vast experience and

With over two decades of experience, John has honed his skills and expertise in architecture through various roles in leading organizations. He began his career at Plessy Nigeria Limited, where he gained valuable hands-on experience and practical knowledge in site design and project management from 2002 to 2005.

In 2005, John transitioned to ZTE Ltd, a renowned telecommunications company, where he further expanded his professional repertoire. During his seven-year tenure at ZTE Ltd, John played a key role in designing and implementing architectural solutions for telecommunications infrastructure projects, demonstrating his ability to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

In 2012, John joined Ridge Energy, where he continued to excel in his field, contributing his expertise to the development of architectural designs for energy-related projects. His innovative approach and attention to detail were instrumental in driving the success of various initiatives during his three-year tenure at Ridge Energy.

In 2015, John embarked on a new chapter in his career, joining Noctek Ltd, where he continued to make significant contributions to the field of site infrastructural development. His leadership and creative vision were instrumental in shaping the architectural landscape of the projects he undertook during his two-year tenure at Noctek Ltd.

In 2018, John brought his wealth of experience and expertise to Abenego Engineering, where he currently serves as a key member of the architectural and building department and he is the General Manager , Head of Design and Project . In his role, John is responsible for overseeing architectural design projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation are met.
